PARAMEDIC

Job:

- Description: Overall responsibility of paramedical services during the work shift. Supervise Ambulance and emergency medical services provided by all "junior" paramedics on duty.

- "Guide" Requirements:

Education: Twelve (12) years formal education. University Degree in Health Science preferred.

Qualifications: Completion of formal course of "Basic Life Support" and certified EMT. Successful completion of "Advanced Life Support" and certified as Paramedic. Alternative qualification is registered Nurse (RN) Western educated and trained.

Experience: Thirteen (13) years experience in paramedic services including five (5) years in a supervisory position. At least two (2) of the last five (5) years shall have been in an equivalent position at a major airport or in a recognised ambulance service. Additional paramedic work experience may be substituted for up to two (2)
years formal education in the ratio of two (2) years experience to one (1) year education. Possession of a university degree in Health Service will reduce the experience requirement by eight (8) years.

Other: Valid vehicle operator's licence in country of origin and ability to obtain same in Saudi Arabia
