ASSIST CHIEF FIRE OFFICER - OPERATIONS

Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Job:

- Description: Responsible for the operational readiness of all Crash, Fire Rescue services during a shift. Overall operational command for the deployment of fire fighting rescue personnel and equipment to all emergencies and incidents.

- "Guide" Requirements:

Education: Twelve (12) years formal education. University degree (or equivalent) in a fire/rescue related subject desirable.

Qualifications: Completed courses in and be qualified to NFPA-1021 Officer Level III and NFPA-1003 Airport Firefighter.

* Nationals of countries other than the United States shall possess own country equivalents *

Experience: Fifteen (15) years experience in fire/rescue services including Twelve (12) years in a Supervisory position. At least two (2) of the last five (5) years must have been spent at a Category 9 airport in an equivalent position. Additional fire/rescue work experience may be substituted for up to two (2) years formal education in the ratio of two (2) years experience to one (1) years education. Possession of a University Degree in a fire/rescue related subject will reduce the experience requirement by four (4) years.

Other: Valid heavy vehicle operator's licence in country of origin and the ability to obtain same in Saudi Arabia. Must be familiar with NFPA codes and IFSTA manuals.
